Introduced in 1957, the Daihatsu Midget was the first mass-produced light three-wheeled truck. It was said to have changed the form of Japanese retail stores due to the explosive hit of its low price, which is comparable to that of a two-wheeled vehicle, and its mobility, which is said to be able to drive, deliver, and collect money at the same time. The catchphrase "City Helicopter", which is likened to that figure, and the comical TV commercials, are also in history in terms of marketing.
The MP type with a round handle appeared in 1959, but the original bar handle type was also sold as a low-priced version until 1962.
TLV commercialized the Midget DSA type, a bar handle specification with a side door, which was added in 1959, in 2007, but this time it will appear as a new specification for the first time in a while. This time, the actual patrol car that was active at the Koshien police station in the 1955's is reproduced. The actual car was nicknamed "bean police car" because of its lovely appearance. It reproduces the unique appearance of a small but black and white two-tone speaker and the speakers on the roof. It is one with an outstanding presence.
